This is a 1950's classic Rolinx cigarette dispenser designed by Mr. Maurice H. Robin. If my research is correct, it is made of Bakelite Cream colored with faux dark brown leather sides (ever so slightly scratched/normal wear) Roll top; section for cigarettes, fans out to dispense cigarrettes - see pictures. One of same on display in the Science Museum in London. This amazing dispenser produces cigarettes from within when the roll top is pushed back. It measures approximately 4.5 inches long x 3 inches wide x 2 inches high The dispenser is in excellent working order. The little Bakelite tab on the top is gone; however it can still be opened and closed. Stamped on the bottom is " A Rolinx Product - Made in England -Brit. Pat. No's. 593961 & 642536 - U.S. Pattern 15/4/52 - Other Foreign Pats. Applied For". International buyers must Overall this dispenser is in very good condition and would make a great addition to anyone's collection!
