VINTAGE 1950'S SHEAFFER ART-DECO DESK LAMP WITH PEN HOLDER - WORKS GREAT - NICE ! This is a beautiful 1950's era Art Deco desk lamp from Shaeffer. The bottom is marked Shaeffer's Dry-Proof, fountain pen set. W. A. Sheaffer Pen Co. Fort Madison, Iowa U.S.A. The lamp works great as does the on/off switch. The power cord is also in good condition. The lamp is in overall great condition for it's age. It has a very good vintage textured finish, no dents or rusting. This was originally a desk set and does not include the pen that it originally came with, but does include the original adjustable pen holder. The top plastic part of the "pen holder" has two hair line cracks. This is a heavy metal Art Deco desk lamp. It is copper/brown in color, with copper/bronze trim. Measuring almost 12" across on the top of lamp, and 7 1/2" at the base and 11'' in height. This is definitely a statement piece for your home or office, and in perfect working order.
