We offer for your consideration a vintage 1957-1963 hard plastic 8" Betsy McCall consisting of all of the following items: 1. First we have one 8" Betsy McCall doll with brunette hair pulled to either side with original hair barrettes. The doll is marked on the back, is jointed at the knees and is in very good condition. We don't see any splits in seams or scratches on the body. 2. The doll is wearing an untagged Betsy McCall sleep outfit. It has a pink sheer gown that ties around the neck with a satin ribbon , pink satin panties, and a pink sheer robe with white lace trim. Also, the outfit has a pair of pink satin house slippers. 3. Next we have a wooden wardrobe that is marked on the bottom MC CALL'S / Made by Strombecker . The wardrobe is painted white and has 2 decals on the front doors. One of the decals appears to be Betsy McCall holding an umbrella with 3 birds and the other decal is just the birds alone. The doors have wood knobs. The inside has a bar for hanging clothes and a shelf 4. The second piece of furniture is a wood bed that matches the wardrobe. The slats are marked on the bottom c STROMBECKER / MOLINE, ILL.
