VINTAGE CHALET ART GLASS FREE-FORM BLUE CURL SPIKE BOWL CIRCA 1960’S Up for auction and offered without reserve is a lovely vintage Chalet Artistic Glass Free-Form bowl. This stunning blue bowl or centerpiece was made by Chalet Artistic Glass (originally called Murano Glass) which operated out of Cornwall , Ontario Canada . The Company was founded by three master glass artisans from Venice , Italy ; Angelo and Luigi Tedesco and Sergio Pagnin. This fabulous original hand-made vase has a “four toed” base and is a beautiful shade of blue. Bowl has four curled spikes and measures 10” high to the top of the tallest spike, 8” across the widest point and 3 1/2” across the base. This bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. I would have classified it as excellent or perfect condition until I starting taking photos outside. There are a few rough scratches on one side. I only noticed these on close inspection; please see detailed photos. The polished base is signed with Chalet Canada as shown.
