This auction is for an early 1960's Cleveland era Rogers Holiday Snare Drum wrapped in original Red Sparkle Pearl. 5" x 14" - 8 lug. This drum is in beautiful vintage condition. The shell is in excellent condition with no extra holes and excellent factory bearing edges. This shell was covered with vinyl contact paper in the 1980's and was recently very carefully removed. The contact paper preserved the wrap and it is in vibrant condition with no fade. The paper was applied under the original script badge so it has been. Original Clockface strainer with black background, the small metal tab and screws that hold the snare cord are replacements). Nice Tall Boy Hoops. Some of the tension rods are Slingerland from the same era. Several of the original Bread & Butter lug casings were badly cracked which is very common, they have now been replaced with correct era lug casings with no cracks. The original cracked casings will also be included. Two of the original lugs still on the shell have very minor hairline cracks that are hard to see, the worst crack is shown in photo 7.
