Vintage 1960s Perrier Jouet Champagne Bucket Few Chips and 5 Excellent Matching Crystal Flutes Up for your consideration we have a Vintage 1960s Perrier Jouet Champagne Ice Bucket with some inner edge/base chips and 5 matching crystal flutes in excellent used condition. The Perrier Jouet brand is well known throughout the world for its quality champagne and for the ongoing appreciation the family has for art over the years The hand painted poppy floral design on the ice bucket and 5 flutes is the signature look that the company has cherished In 1902 the great Emile Galle was commissioned by Henri Gallice, the nephew of Charles Perrier, to design additional artwork for future Perrier Jouet bottles Galle added a gold design along with the original art, which you see the gold outline along the edges of the floral design on the bucket and flutes The actual original Galle designs were not released until many years later for the Belle Époque prestige cuvee bottle, yet it had influence on the signature design on this set We recently acquired these items from the estate sale of a well known South Jersey Resident that had many unique and high quality items Pay close attention to all photos provided in this listing, in addition to specifics above The ice bucket has a few chips along the inner edge consistent with use from a bottle being placed in and out of the bucket When you look inside the bucket and down to the inner base you will also notice some lines in the glass from a bottle contacting the base, which is not a crack through the base, just visible on the inside The hand painted Floral Design on the front of the bucket has some light surface wear when you take a close look The bucket is in fair used condition The 5 matching flutes are in excellent used condition with no cracks or chips Overall, this set is in good to very good used condition with some chips along the inner edge of the bucket and inner base while the matching flutes are in excellent used condition We will properly pack these items with plenty of bubble wrap and insurance is included with all shipping prices Contact us with any questions and check out our store for more flutes listed in sets of 4 and 6 WE GO TO GREAT LENGTHS TO BRINGA VAST ARRAY OF THE FINEST AND UNIQUE COLLECTIBLES TO MARKET FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT AND PLEASURE.
