DESCRIPTION Vintage 1960s ultra mod dress. - Classic 60s silhouette. - Attractive high neckline with feature button fastening. -Concealed, off centre fastening with a 18.5" or 47cm period metal zip. - Attractive hip patch pocket with button detail. LABEL No attached garment labels thus I would suggest that this is a handmade dress, constructed by a skilled dressmaker. SIZE I would suggest that the dress would fit a modern UK size 8/10. However due to the vast variation in modern sizing, I would ask you to check the following measurements. Armpit to armpit is 18 " or 45.5 cm, doubled to 36 " or 91cm. Waist, edge to edge is 17.5 " or 44.5cm, doubled to 34 " or 89cm. Hips, edge to edge is approx 19.5 " or 49.5cm, doubled to 39 " or 99cm. Centre back neck to hem is 33" or 84cm. Please remember to add ease to your measurements to gain a great period fit. FABRIC TYPE With no garment labels I would suggest the dress is constructed from polycotton and as you would expect from a handmade item the seams are clean finished. CONDITION The item remains in very good vintage condition with no identified marks, stains or damage. The fabric remains crisp which would suggest that it has had minimal, if any wear. The hem has been taken up neatly by hand by 3" or 7.5cm and could easily be lowered if a long length is required. GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION- Item will have indication of wear, possible alterations or repairs, discrete or localised marks or damage. EXPECTED VINTAGE CONDITION- Obvious indications of wear, small areas of damage. The items may have been altered or repaired, but will still remain in wearable condition. I will try my upmost to document any identified flaws in my description. Photographs When photographing garments, I may enhance items with the required period underwear or accessories. Unless stated, underpinnings and accessories will not be included in the sale of the item and are only used to demonstrate the full potential of an outfit. Returns I do except returns, as long as the return takes place within ten days of original postage. However all postage costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please notify me of any item you wish to return and obtain proof of postage. On receipt, a refund will be made as long as the items condition is consistent with its original dispatch condition.
