A Mod, Robert Indiana Love Ring, The classic Robert Indiana LOVE sign with the tilted "O". A pop art beauty that is absolutely fabulous! The ring in super vintage shape . It's a solid hunk of ring brushed texture on the sides, around a size 5 . gold plated it was tested through a acid tester and it floated a gold flakes on top of the acid at a 10 k limit so I would say its gold plated. In fabulous condition . only scuff could be seen with magnifier glass or the super close up lens .good luck and thanks for looking .Low starting bid with no reserve .All reasonable offers will be considered. Don't let this piece of hippy icon get away . ( Any reasonable offer will be considered so f ill free to shoot me on e ) Great memories from the 60's .Robert Indiana was born in 1928. He settled in New York and worked with other important NYC painters such as Kelly, Smith, and Youngerman. He was inspired by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jim Dine and Jasper Johns, to name a few. In NY his works can be seen at The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the Whitney, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET).Indiana's best known image is the word "LOVE" in a square with a tilted "O". This image was first created for a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964. good luck on your bid and tha nks for look ing.
