Up for bidding is a very memorable and All time classic Barbie release to com out of the very early 1960's... this is an original and very clean VINTAGE 1961 BARBIE "PONYTAIL" BLACK VINYL DOLL CARRYING CASE manufactured by MATTEL toys USA. Barbie for decades has of coarse been the most popular doll manufactured for girls in America since 1959, this release of the black vinyl "Ponytail" case was in the very early infancy of the Barbie franchise and was very much part of the craze that started it all. This one up for bid is in a very clean and beautiful condition both inside and out. It has fantastic original color both inside and out, gorgeous gloss shine on it's outer black vinyl, bright inner white on it's great 1960's styled polka dot inner liner, a perfect original inner compartment divider and amazingly clean and perfect inner Barbie mirror. This case opens and closes perfectly, it has a very clean outer silver trim, great handle and gorgeous and full classic Barbie illustrations on both sides. The only wear to speak of is a very little amount of cleaning and some small wear rips in vinyl at the inner hinge corners (from the opening and closing). Otherwise this is GORGEOUS!!!
