Vintage 1963 Barbie Outfit Knitting Pretty #957 including all accessoriesThe first Knitting Pretty Fashion Pak, Royal Blue, released in 1963 . This is shown in the 1962 Barbie and Ken (and now Midge) fashion catalog (white cover) as #957 - $3.00Sweater, matching cardigan and flannel skirt: Sweaters are intact, some fuzzing from play - original bead buttons and button holes are intact. Cardigan may have damage (cut or tiny hole?) to bottom row on back, but no other damage. Skirt has crease near bottom from how it was last used or stored (like hemming but without sewing?), and as photos show possibly loose seaming and loose thread at top snap - no damage where crease is, easily fixed.Shoes: Navy Blue Open Toe, 'JAPAN' on left soleAccessories: Very slight handling damage, scissors are intact and "work". How to Knit book does have some handling or play (bent paper) damage on back but is in excellent condition on front. Yarn balls are intact, two pins as knitting needles are also intact but discolored/tarnished slightly.Also included are original Pak hanger for all three pieces at once, and the 1962 Barbie & Ken clothing catalog that came with the outfit.
