Vintage 1963 S/L Skipper Doll w/Rare BROWN/Brunette Hair-Very Unusual & N/MINT Description: (Many More Pictures Below) 1963 Straight-Leg Skipper with Unusual Brown Hair With Original Swimsuit and Red Japan Flats All Original and Near Mint Condition FREE Shipping in the Continental US !! This is an exceptional Skipper doll with unusual silky BROWN hair, that may look dark auburn in bright light (I really couldn't decide). For comparison, the last two pictures below show her between a brunette and a redhead Skipper. The hair is 100% original. It's long, thick, silky (not dry), shiny and "sways" in place. No missing plugs and not been cut. The scalp is turning dark indicating the hair has oxidized to this color over the years the way color magics do. She is NOT a reroot. The only mentionable issue with this doll is some slight pinkish fade at the top of the thighs and maybe a hint on the top of the shoulders. There are no other issues. Makeup is all original and perfect. No green; No earring holes; No pinpricks; No necksplits or other damage to the face, head or body. The body has Skipper/1963/Mattel Inc. on the right hip.
