I have been collecting vintage lunchboxes for several years, but I've become involved with other crafts...so it's time for these gems to go to other good homes... I will be auctioning over 200 lunchboxes, including the Jetsons, Cable Car, Star Trek dome (incredible!), Circus Wagon, Gunsmoke Double L, Disney Bus - and many more - so please SEE my other auctions - and CHECK BACK often! FOR AUCTION: This hard-to-find BARBIE and MIDGE vinyl lunchbox was made by KST using artist Nick LoBianco in 1964. It was the dream for all the young girls to have. This one is in GREAT condition for its age and the fact that it's vinyl. The girls' faces and figures are colorful and the latch and handle are in very good condition. T is a small tear on the inside w the cover meets the back panel on the left side and a smaller one of the right in the same position (see pic#2 and 4). The thermos is great - colors are bright and no dents or spots, just some minor oxidation on the bottom. This came with a red cup although some books show it with a cream one. The collectors' books value this set at $245 in C8 condition - and I'd say this is better than that. It will make a great addition to your lunchbox or Barbie collection! Payment: PayPal only and payment due within 3 days of end of auction. Shipping : U.S. only. Item will be packaged with care to avoid read more
