Vintage 1966 Bestway Kitchen Scale Mint!This auction is for a kitchen scale I bought at an estate sale. It was still in the box. Somebody had written Big Bonus 11-5-66.on the box. You can tell the writing is very old. I can remember my mother collecting Big Bonus Stamps as a kid and some of the items she purchased with them. This scale looks like new. It is very well made and even has a metal dial face. In the first picture the face has a spot in the blue that looks like it is worn but actually it is just a glare. It actually looks like new with very vivid color. I believe it probably has been in the box since 1966. It may have had a plastic dial cover at one time as there are some slots where one may have snapped on. I researched the internet and found two other scales identical to this although one had a different name on it. Neither of these had a dial cover either and both were in sad shape compared to this beauty. Ever since cooking shows started featuring retro kitchens these have become very popular!
