Vintage 1967 St. Louis Blues Inaugural Year (1967-68) Paper Placemat Shown here is a MINT Paper Placemat from the St. Louis Blues' Inaugural year 1967-68. I got this placemat from the man who's Father owned a Tavern in the South St. Louis area in the 1960's. These are RARE in the fact that paper placemats were thrown away after use. The placemat is printed on a lite textured paper. The St. Louis Blues were 1 of 6 new teams added in the 1967 expansion and were sponsored by Falstaff Beer. This placemat are in MINT condition w/ no rips or tears. It shows pictures of moves that are now illegal in Hockey (cross-checking, holding, hooking) and many more. This would be a great piece to frame on the wall or show off as early Blues Hockey items are hard to find. Let's Go Blues!!!
