Vintage 1970's 14K Italy Gold Charm Holder & 22" 14K necklace SCRAP ? Back in the 60's had a couple charm bracelets . Took off all of the charms in the 70's when knits came in & only saved a few for a charm holder necklace . This is the vintage charm holder & 14K rope chain necklace. Think I wore it with a few special family charms but has been in jewel box for several years. Both charm holder & necklace are marked 14K . The rope chain is 22 inches long . The holder is 1 inch across the widest portion ( hinge & opener hooks ) . The weight with my brand - new ebay scale says this necklace & holder weigh 3.1 G (grams ) . ** note - just tried to open the necklace clasp and can't do it - afraid to force it - so the 14K necklace may just be scrap ** This is still a fun way to display special charms .
