EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION! $1 START NO RESERVE Up for sale is a recent Estate Auction find, a Vintage 1970's Natural Rainbow Moonstone & Two Diamond 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring. This Vintage 1970's 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a 10x7mm Rainbow Moonstone with the most Beautiful BLUE/ TEAL, and GOLDEN/ ORANGE Areas of Color. This is one of the More Unusual Moonstones We Have Offered with an Orange Horizontal Stripe! The Shimmering Iridescent Effect covers the entire moonstone and has amazing depth of color. This moonstone is all natural and guaranteed as such. This Fantastic Moonstone is a Rectangular Cabochon cut that has been set from behind and is recessed to protect it from nicks and chips. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. We provided quite a few photos of the gemstone to give you an idea of how much color there is and how it covers the domed surface. The white swirl is not a blemish, it is a reflection from the light source used to take the photo. The lines you see in the moonstone are the natural crystal's lamellar inner construction found in feldspars. This unique quality is responsible for the shimmer and the way incident light rays are refracted and scattered in the gemstone. This ring is also set with Two 1mm Genuine & Natural Diamonds bead set on either side of the moonstone. Both Diamonds have nice color and clarity and are guaranteed to be both Genuine & Natural.
