Thisauction is for my personal and original 1972 Kenner Blythe doll. The Blythe doll is based on the art work of Margaret Keane. This 1972 Kenner Blythe doll is extremely rare as it was only made and sold for one year in 1972. She has been in storage in a Rubbermaid tub for the last 20 years and before that lived in her box on a shelf in a smoke-free home. She is in absolutely fantastic, clean, virtually perfect condition due to this.. I was not a fan of dolls growing up and I was born in 1971 so she has been rarely played with, if at all. She is fully working! All parts of her... pull the ring-cord on her back and her eyes The eye colors change with each pull of the string to blue, green, orange and pink. The original 6" cord and ring to work the eye mechanism is still firmly attached inside her head, clean, and in perfect working order . Her eye chips are shiny, brightly colored and have no scratches or damage. The whites of her eyes are still bright white. Her long eyelashes are in mint condition, NONE are missing or damaged. Her face is gorgeous and STILL HAS THE PEARLIZED SHEEN which many other 1972 Blythe dolls have lost with age. There are NO scratches, marks, or damage of any kind to her face. She has her original pale pink lipstick and green eyeshadow, both also have NO fading, damage or wear. Her hair is UNCUT, quite read more
