You are bidding on a nice RARE VINTAGE 1976 FOX .36 "MK III COMBAT SPECIAL" C/L MODEL AIRPLANE ENGINE , MADE IN U.S.A.! Model# 13700. This is the first version with 6-bolt "tall door" backplate and button-type glow plug boss! Engine has been test-run several times, but appears to be in EXCELLENT, NEW CONDITION overall! Appears to be complete except for the glow plug. Nothing damaged as far as I can tell. Crankshaft turns over freely, with STRONG COMPRESSION! Cylinder & Head Fins look clean, nothing bent or broken-out. The beam mounting lugs show light mounting marks probably from a test stand, openings are original nothing enlarged or broken-out. Intake & Exhaust Stacks have not been chipped or shaved. There's some light surface tarnishing spots on the head & cylinder fins, only cosmetic and won't affect performance.
