You are bidding on a NEAT action game called CHUTES AWAY and IT DOES NOT NEED BATTERIES!! It is a windup toy. The box reads; "You're the pilot--only you can save the survivors!" You load the plane with chutes, wind up terrain target, switch on engine.....Sight survivors through viewfinder, position plane with control lever....Get ready, take aim, hit drop switch---CHUTES AWAY! How many survivors will you save!?!" All is complete! It has 10 parachutes, only 8 fit onto the back of the plane, with two extra. There is no instruction sheet, but the back of the box illustrates how to work it. The turning terrain has a yellow center knob that you wind up. There is a switch to turn on and off. One center control for moving the plane back and forth to hit the targets, and the left switch is to drop the chute. There is a viewfinder on the top of the tower. It has a realistic view with a soft eyepiece to see what's coming up next! The neat thing is you don't have to keep buying batteries! My grandsons loved it!! It is for 5 years and up! It is marked 1977 on both the box and the bottom of the toy. I don't see anything wrong except there are two labels coming unglued on the top of the control panel.
