You are bidding on a VERY RARE Boris Diplomat BDII Electronic Chess set. This set was produced in 1980 and is in excellent working condition, and in original packaging with the original instruction booklet. I purchased this from an estate and the owner was very meticulous about all of his belongings. Product Features: Portable – weighs less than 2 pounds AC adaptor included Full Rank Display – Uses symbols to represent pieces rather than numbers so that they are easily recognizable at a glance Positional Memory – The game can be stopped at any point and continued at a later date Tutoring – The computer can suggest moves, points out illegal moves and demonstrates En Passant Change Sides – Can play both sides and switch between black and white during the game, so it can essentially play itself Graduated Level of Play – The more time the computer has, the better it will play If you love chess, or if you are a vintage computer collector, this piece is for you!
