Vintage 1980’s 14K Gold Sapphire& Diamond Ring 4.7 Grams Size 6.25 Up for auction is this pretty dark blue sapphire and diamond 14K gold ladies’ cocktail ring size 6.25. Ring weighs 4.7 Grams. Sapphire is Marquis cut with six long prongs that follow down to the base of the ring. Ten graduated diamonds are channel set on each side of ring with marcasite all around stones. Inside of ring is marked 14K. Right side of ring has a smooth surface, while the left side has a grooved surface. This pattern is opposite when turned around. I purchased this ring in the mid 1980’s and it has been worn with love. A family member designed the ring. The ring is checked and cleaned at least once per year by my Jeweler. All stones are secure and without cracks. Due to age and wear, ring has scratches on the gold. Please enjoy this lovely ring as much as I have for many years. Good luck and thank you for looking.
