Vintage 1985 Cricket Doll by Playmates Doll is cosmetically in excellent condition. She has her original pony tails, bows, clothes (including bloomers, shoes and socks). Her skin and body have no marks. Her sweater has a few imperfections. There is a small dirt smudge near the collar and the seam has pulled apart on the side, but could be repaired. The sweater is also pulling apart on the back. (see photos) Her back and battery compartment look new. The only problem is that I don't have a tape to test her. I don't know if she only works with her "special tapes", because I put batteries in and a different cassette tape to test her. But when I press play, nothing happens. I turn the volume up and can hear the speaker "buzz", so that works. Just not sure about the cassettes. She is a wonderful looking doll with no smells or oders. Would be a great playmate for any little girl. Thank you for your consideration. ( The doll weighs about 5 pounds, but if actual shipping is less than paid, I will refund the difference.)
