Up for auction is an old Columbia Family Scale (24 pounds by ounces) in good vintage condition ~~ some areas with light rust and a few spots of paint spray which it has picked up over the years, which only add to its charm! Scale "face" is in excellent condition, with very little wear ... all numbers are clearly legible. Scale is both accurate and adjustable. Both sides of scale have gold foil labels which are inscribed as follows: "BIDDLE" in the center, and around the large center logo, the words, "R. & W.C. BIDDLE / SUPPLEE / BIDDLE HARDWARE COMPANY / ESTABLISHED 1837 / PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, U.S.A."This is a great working collectible!!!
