Up for bid is this Vintage 28 piece Childs Tea Set. It is white with roses and gold trim. On the bottom of each is a marking and the name Japan. The lamp has a sticker that also reads: Wales (with a picture of a Crown) , Reg. U.S., Pat. Off., Made in Japan. I purchase this set from a woman that had this as a child in 1955. Unfortunately, t are some pieces missing. So the 28 pieces are what I have, which are: 2 Pc. lamp - oil type with wick 7" tall Tea pot with lid - 4" tall Sugar bowl with lid - 3" tall creamer - 2 1/2" tall Oval Serving Bowl with lid - 5 1/2" wide (handle to handle) , 2 3/4" tall Semi - round Serving Tray - 5 3/4" diamiter Oblong Tray 7" long and 4 1/4" wide Jar with lid - 2 1/2" tall Salt and Pepper shaker - 1 1/2" tall 3 tea cups (one has a chip) - 1 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" diamiter 4 Saucers - 3 3/4" diamiter 6 Plates - 4 1/2" diamiter T also are 2 tea cups that have the handle broke off that ARE NOT part of the 28 pieces. Other than the one tea cup that has a chip, this set is in good shape for the age. These were played with.
