Up for auction now is a wonderful, old Madame Alexander doll from the 1930's/40's. She is made of composition and is 18 inches tall. She has eyes that open and close, her original wig and her original clothes. Her hair is kind of strawberry blonde and her eyes gray-blue. She is marked with an impressed "Alexander" on her back. Measurement: 18" tall. Her condition is good. The only flaws I see are that her clothes are a little worn, there are beginning cracks on her legs (see photo), and her joints are a little loose. This is a very nice doll. Collectors, take note!
