Madame Alexander "SONJA HENIE" doll. Very High Color Strung 15" Composition doll. Orig Mohair wig with brass barrettes at sides. High Color dimpled cheeks, knees and elbows. Clear light amber brown eyes, Deep smokey shadow. Lashes are very sparse. She comes dressed in her original tagged pink and white floral taffeta dress with attached net slip and lace up ice skates. She also is wearing a very unusual pink Girdle. Please keep in mind she is very old. Composition is in relatively nice shape with no horrible flaws. She is very sound but does have some surface crazing as pictured. T IS NO CRACK IN HER LEFT ARM AS IT APPEARS IN THE ONE PIC. It is a string from her dress. Dress is clean and in good shape, slip needs to resewn in back as it has become detached from the waist. Skates are missing the blades and in my opinion are not in good shape. She has no odors. Stringing is nice with no swingy limbs. Not perfect but a very cute doll with a certain charm. I get most of my dolls from orig estates. Please check back as I will be listing more.
