This length of vintage 1930s, barkcloth-era gorgeous rose print cotton fabric is in very good condition. It appears to have been sewn to be part of sofa or daybed cover, the center area measures 71" long x 36" wide. T are 12" long skirts on 3 sides, two skirts are 45" wide, one is 92" long. On selvage is printed "DESIGN FARNABY, GUARANTEED TO BE VAT PRINTS". Drapery-weight cotton fabric is maroon with a lovely print of cabbage roses bouquets framed in diamond - shaped scrolls and plumes. Scrolls and bouquets are 19-1/2" long x 15" wide. T are six full florals & frames, and numerous portions of others. Background is maroon, remaining colors are pink to burgundy to maroon, yellow, greens, creamy white, & dove gray. Colors are uniform, t is no fading, fabric is clean and strong, no thin or worn areas, no tears. T are about 6 very tiny holes, some with threads attached, most are on the skirts. I found a couple of small pale spots, hardly noticed. This is beautiful vintage floral fabric, wonderful to use for sewing projects. NO RESERVE. PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.
