Description: Vintage 1970's 3D Exquisite Egyptian Scarab Beetle With Abalone Inset Pendant/Necklace Up for auction, we have for you a 1970's Vintage highly detailedEgyptian Sacarb Beetle Pendant with Abalone Inset - Handmade initials R. C Unique! Scarab Beetle signify "rebirth" This pendant was handmade by local artist in the '70s with the initials R.C. It has a unique detailed design of the Scarab Beetle with abalone inset in the middle. You can see the abalone on the top and a beautiful greenish glass piece on the bottom. It measure 1-1/2" long and 1-1/8" wide and 1/2" deep. An unusual pendant for sure. I am unsure of the metal - maybe brass. It has a great shiny finish. This is a unique piece from the 1970's!
