A gorgeous, textured Mediterranean blue plant pot, made by Bitossi Art Pottery of Italy in the 1960s or 1970s. The impressed wheel and circle pattern is carefully stamped, and glazed - the exterior colourway is mainly turquoise with stripes of green and a darker blue - the interior is completely turquoise. Please note that this planter does sit perfectly straight - it's my wonky photography which makes it appear askew!Signed in black to base as "3655/12", and impressed "MADE ITALY". Measuring approximately 5 1/2" high and 6 1/2" diameter of rim. A lovely piece of Italian Art Pottery, perfect to show off your favourite houseplant!
