For your consideration I am offering a vintage1950s or 60s flatware set made out of brass with a solid wood box. The set's history is unknown but I believe it came from my grandparents who were great travelers during the period. It contains place settings for seven with an extra knife and spoon. Also included are a relish spoon, serving spoon, serving fork, a carving knife and a carving fork. Additional items are a serving spoon and fork that do not appear to be part of the original set1 The box measures 9.5 x 12.5 x 4.5 inches it is lined and appears to be made out of fine grade wood. The condition of the flatware is excellent plus with some of the items appearing to have no use. T are light marks and spots from age but I assume these would polish out. Each utensil has a relief of an elephant deity that is clear and not worn. The box has many small marks and worn areas from years of storage, however it is solid with no cracks or damage of any kind. Lining is made of cloth and felt which has some minor water stains and marks from holding the utensils for so many years.Fell free to ask questionsI will ship international, buyer to pay actual cost, no mark up.Pick up in southern California is free.
