I have here a vintage doll from the 1960s. She has a soft head that turns 360 degrees. The rest of her body is made of rigid plastic. She can be sat down but does not bend in any other way. I think she might be a Tressy or Mary Make Up doll, as she has a button in her tummy and a place for a key in her back, I remember these dolls from childhood. 'Palitoy - Made in England' is marked on the back of the head just under the lower hairline. There is a hole at the top of the head where I presume hair once 'grew' when a key was turned - sadly, this hair is missing. The rest of the doll is in good condition, apart from the right hand, which has a couple of chew/teeth marks in it. She has a pretty face: snub nose, forward-facing blue eyes and pouting pink lips. Needs some tlc including a clean and hair shampooing/conditioning/styling. I'm not a doll collector and am hoping this can go to someone who is, who could perhaps restore or display her. Please feel free to ask any questions!Starts at only 99p, which is worth a bid for a collector of vintage dolls. Please see my other listings as I have a couple of other dolls from this era and some Sindy clothes, also from the 60s.Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
