Vintage 1970's Gold and Silver Triple Bells Charm You are bidding on a vintage 1970's Gold and Silver Triple Bells Charm. This set of three bells are very similar to the Wells charm often seen on Ebay, but I could not find a mark on this set of charms. Each bell has a beautiful clanger which produces the nicest sound, with all three it makes a light tinkling sound (nothing that would draw attention to the charm bracelet if worn). Each bell has silver toward the top of the charm where they all rub against each other. However, this is not a sign of wear, but how the charms were dipped in gold wash to reflect both metals. I received this charm from my grandmother as a holiday gift one year, and by that time I had not worn my charm bracelet much at all. This charm did go on my gold bracelet, but it spent most of the last 40 years in a jewelry box. The charm is unmarked and therefore priced accordingly since I can't confirm the metal content of this charm for sure. I recently found this charm bracelet, and feel this charm would be better admired by someone else who would love to have it on their bracelet. I love the sound of this charm when its touched by those next to it. This charm was on a vintage bracelet made up of classic charms that I collected or were given as gifts (United Nations, Hawaiian Pinapple, Statue of Liberty Apollo space program from NASA, graduation mortarboards, etc...). See other listings, all of which were Sterling Silver with gold wash, plating, or gold. This charm has a beautiful light shiny gold and silver patina and is not damaged in any way. There are the usual minor wear scratches that are seen through a jewelers loop that come from having rubbed and touched other nearby charms, but nothing that is considered damage. Since there are three bells that make up this charm, one bell measures 1/4" tall, by 7/16 wide at the base. There is a gold splitring that connects all three bells, then another splitring that attaches them to the bracelet. It is a beautiful charm that has been well cared for and has minimal wear, then stored for many decades which maintained its almost new appearance over time. Take a look at the other charms I have listed that came off of this bracelet, especially those with stones, pearls, and crystals, and moving parts. This charm has since been stored in a smoke free/ pet free home. I also do my part to protect your charm during shipping and sometimes will use recycled materials if it will keep your charm clean and safe. The best deal in town is to take advantage of the combined shipping. With postage going up, it doesn't cost any more to add another charm or two into the same bubble package.
