5/8 George Wostenholm Original P ipe Hollow Ground Straight Razor ( shave r eady) For your consideration is this beautiful vintage 5/8 George Wostenholm Original Pipe straight razor. Here are the details: 19th cent ury 5/8 hollow ground blade in excellent condition. A few spots of discoloration but nothing affecting blade. 95% mirrored finish. Muted spike point for ease of use and forgiveness. Slightly smiling blade. Custom scales in Earth/Coyote/Tan G10. Light brown with darker edges from the G10 layers. We dge is white G10 .Pins are nickel/s ilver rod with br ass & stainless ste el trip le stacked washers. Blade has been cleane d and I have wo rked the tang a little to remove some rust. The Wostenholm name stamp was nearly er ased in the process . P ipe side is beautiful. Blade measures 2 5/8 " in length. This is a great S heffield razor . A reputation as being one of the best brands of its time and this razor will be no exception. This razor will ship shave ready* to be put right into use. All my razors are shipped promptly in sturdy boxes, properly packaged. NOT ENVELOPED so you can rest easy during shipment. I apply a light coat of oil on the blade to protect from oxidation during shipment. I have been doing restoration/custom work on razor s for several years and take pride in my work. I won't sell it i f would n't qualify
