Up for bids is a vintage cameo brooch that is marked 800 on the back. There are no other markings that I could find so I don't know who made this or how old it could be. The style looks Art Deco to me. The condition of this brooch is very good for its age. The safety clasp is complete and functional. The cameo appears to be in very good shape. The details are sharp. I don't know if this is a production flaw or not, but looking at the brooch in the third photo at the 9:00 position to the 11:00 position and about 1/32" (or less) in, appears to be a layer shorter than the rest of the cameo. This may be difficult to see. The line is too sharp and pronounced, in my opinion, to be a chip. If this is not what you expected you may return it. I am not a collector or a dealer.
