VINTAGE WORLD WAR II PHOTO QUANTITY: 1 - See the other WWI & WWII photos I have listed. SUBJECT: B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber of the 91st Bombardment Group. Shown is 1st Lt Arnold J. Nichols and his crew which completed their tour. On 30 May 1944 this same B-17 with Lt Zack Collins and his crew were lost over Belgium. This is a ONE OFF print of a WWII photo. We recently bought a large collection of WWII photos. Most were original. This one was apparently developed in the 1970's or thereabouts since it glows under a black light. It does not have any photo paper markings on the back typical of the 1940's, nor does it have any printer paper markings typical of recent times. This is a REAL PHOTO. It is the only one we have and we will not reproduce or copy any others from this print.DATE: image is WWII; this photo was probably developed in the 1970's or so.SIZE: 8" x 10" - the 6" ruler shown gives an idea of the size and is not included.CONDITION: Very Good. See scans. BACK: blank. Has a Post-It note with the crews and bomb group identified.SOURCE: From the archives of the World War History & Art Museum (WWHAM) in Alliance, Ohio.
