VINTAGE #952 FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE PLAY FAMILY HOUSE MASONITE BASE +ACCESSA friend of mine is downsizing and had many of the old style Fisher Price LITTLE PEOPLE play sets that we all remember. As these are not computer generated and don't have a "talking" chip and kids have to use their IMAGINATION these still are good for fun hours of play. When I was younger we used to put all of these different play-sets together to make a town and left it up for weeks at a time. I saved them all and my kids played with them when they were little. They fell out of favor as the little people could be swallowed by tiny tots and they made huge clunky simpler versions of these great old toys. I also know that many of you collect or want these for your kids or grand kids. My family has ours sitting in the attic awaiting Grand kids! I have put these up for three day auctions and will try to ship them out on Monday in time for the holiday. Keep in mind that these are in large size boxes and even though priority mail is more expensive they are handled better and do not take as long as parcel or economy. Keep in mind that I am in PA so the farther away the more expensive and it can take up to 3 days if going to the West coast. All of these have played with and I have done a simple dusting but if you want they can be cleaned more carefully. Most of the Little People are the old wooden ones and not the later plastic or combination versions. I will try to note any obvious flaws to help you make a bid but if you have any questions please ask!!! Most of these sets have many of the original accessories but if there is something missing from the actual set, there are many single accessory items on ebay to purchase that may help to make it complete!!This auction is for the FISHER PRICE #952 Play Family House, made between 1969-1979. The corners of the Masonite wood base are intact with the exception of the back corner which has a small damage area. The interior paper lithographs and the exterior paper are in nice condition with vibrant colors and no peeling or problems but there is one small spot on the living room floor. The doorbell dings and the garage door raises and closed and the front door opens and closes fine. There are 4 all wood people included and I have added another girl as i believe that the girl in the photo has broken pigtails so you will receive 2 girls. the dog is a solid wooden body but alas the ears are gone but perhaps you can make some out of black felt. There is a spot on the garage door but i did not want to drip any liquid onto the paper floor so i leave it for you to clean. There is an extra 2 seat car in addition to the original blue one and also a swing set , slide and train car is included. The center stairway has good paper litho and the door opens smoothly. There is also a white double sink and stove included as well as the 2 single beds in orange and the blue double bed with textured quilt and pillow area. The round table is brown with good paper top and 4 brown chairs but one is slightly lighter and not fully closed at the front (factory error?) You can also use these chairs for the umbrella in case the little people want to eat outdoors! There are two orange chairs and small yellow table for the living room. This set smells fine and is in nice shape and ready for hours of play. This is one of the favorite items in the Fisher Price play sets and kids always add their own items for more fun!!I take the time to give you a fair mailing price as each package is individually weighed to your zip.
