Up for bid is a sharp radio from Admiral, model 6C22 from 1953, 54 or 55.The styling is truly Jet -age. A period right after the war when jet aircraft became big. Styling cues were often borrowed for design by many manufacturers. The polished centerpiece really gives this some pop. The cabinet is in nice condition and clean. This cabinet was cleaned and polished back to it's nice vintage condition .The cabinet measures 12"x8"x6" .It retains it's bottom label and cardboard back. The grille cloth is original and in good condition. The chassis is clean for a vintage item. The tubes are in place but some seem to be in need of changing. The tuning knob is in working order. One wire is cut as you can see in the picture. Overall this should be a fun and pretty straightforward project. If you collect 50's radio's ,this is one that should be in your collection. The polished aluminum escutcheon is a classic design. This jet-age beauty will be properly boxed and shipped insured. No international sales. No disappointments here. Check my feedback. Thank-you for looking.
