Up for bid is a wonderful vintage paper trick or treat bag for Halloween. This appears to be a paper bag used for advertising, as it says" Trick or Treat--It's no trick--Treat Yourself to Fine Cleaning--Custom Cleaners and Laundry--3767 Covenant Road--Columbia, S.C. Along with that are great graphics of a smiling jack o lantern and a wonderful black cat, with arched back. Of course, it is done in the classic orange and black. It measures 8 1/2 inches wide by almost 12 inches tall, without handle. The handle is intact and is another 6 inches tall. The bag is in great condition considering its age and was found at a recent southern estate sale holding several vintage childs masks. All appear to be from the late 1950s or early 1960's. Colors are bright and not faded, because I suspect its been packed away in a closet. T are no substantial rips or tears and seams are tight. It is a bit rumpled and t are a few very minor tears along the top edge--these are tiny--about 2/10 of an inch. Not sure if the cleaners is still in Columbia--but what a great piece of advertising!
