VINTAGE AERONCA AIRPLANES TIN AIRPORT SIGN Album Album Album Featured is a vintage heavy tin sign for Aeronca Airplanes. This is an actual vintage directional sign that was used in an airport. The sign is 14" X 9". It has six original mounting holes. White arrow with wording and logo that says 'To Airport Fly Aeronca Airplanes'. Dark red background with white lettering. Aeronca logotype with wing on capitol A. Condition is pretty good. The surface has some age wear. The outer edges around the perimeter of the sign has some rust spots and bumpiness under the red paint. Also some crackling and general old wear from many years of sitting in a damp hanger.Most of the white type is in good condition, but t are a few small rust under paint spots and t Some of the outer corners show rust. The back is black and shows some light rust and paint loss. This is an uncommon airplane sign that displays nicely. We have a few of these available. All are alike and in the same condition.
