Folks, this is a terrific 82-year old piece of aviation history. I'm offering an original, vintage First Edition aviation book, "The Aircraft Year Book for 1926," Compiled, written, edited, and published by the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America, New York, NY . The book features khaki-colored cloth stamped in black and red; 331 pps. with general index, trade index of advertisers, official world and American air records, municipal landing fields, aircraft manufacturer airplane schematics, et al. While covering military aviation, this volume seems to concentrate on Aviation as a Business, featuring commercial applications. This is profusely illustrated with photographs, drawings and diagrams. The book is in good to very good condition, with tight spine, but showing subtle signs of its age (light fraying on top of spine (see photo). The book also evidences several dark fingerprints on the bottom of the front cover and also on the back cover. It shows light smudging and stray dirt marks on both back and front covers, and has a couple of white marks (see scan) on the back cover. It also has a pencil notation of "5.00" from a previous owner on top of the first page.
