Upfor auction is this vintage classical guitar with solid spruce top. The guitar is a very rare Alpha Alfesta CL030 which was made in Holland and internet research shows that the company was owned for a time by the famous Martin company, who allowed use of their designs as they wanted to break into the middle market for classical guitars in the same way as they had done in the steel string market with the Sigma range of guitars. The guitar has deep basses and ringing trebles and plays easily. The action at the 12 th fret is 5mm. (See photo 5) The tuners are in good condition and hold tune well. The guitar is reasonable condition but has a number of dings that you would expect for a guitar of this age. There is also a more noticeable mark on the side of the guitar which shows in the photo 6.
