Vintage Aluminum Music Box Powder or Trinket Holder Round Romantic Scene Lid Hidden Treasures is pleased to bring you a wonderful vintage lidded music or trinket box! We often list both vintage and antique items in several categories such as glassware, china, jewelry, toys and dolls, to name a few. Check our store daily so you don't miss out on any of these great estate sale finds! This auction is for an aluminum music or lidded trinket box from the 1940's! I can not tell what the music play, but it does work. The bottom is wood with 3 small feet and a wind up mechanism for the music. There are no stickers or marks to identify the maker. The top has a paper picture of a young courting couple. The box does need to be cleaned up a bit, as seen in the pictures. The bottom should also be put in more securely but it works fine and the music plays when the lid is lifted. This box measures about 3 1/2" tall x 5" in diameter. Overall the item is in excellent condition for its age. Please see all the pictures I have posted with this listing so you can get a better idea of what you are bidding on and its condition.
