Rare Vintage Amdep 1894 German Doll Bisque Socket Head This is a very wonderful item from of which I hope that my photographs and attention to detail will show the quality and splendor of this fine vintage doll. Of course t are many experts out t that may review the markings and codes from the doll, but none will ever tell the full story and travels of this doll. It comes from the estate of a very lovely elderly lady named Pamela who passed away some time ago. Unfortunately t is no one in the estate who knows of Mrs. Keelog, �The God Mother� referred to on the tape across the front of the dress but most people remember the name as a refugee from occupied France during World War II. I will include several photos of Pamela, (Pamela is the young girl on the left of photo of two girls on the car) with the doll as a point of historical reference. The photo of the soldier was also with the doll in storage and the original will be included with the doll. No one in the family knows who he is unfortunately. About the physical aspects of doll: The dolls is approximately 20 inches long and has the markings on the back of the head: 1894 AMDEP Made in Germany 6 T is also some writing on one of the legs. I hope that my photos show the condition of this doll, but please feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos or even video. The doll comes with clothing as seen in pictures. I will not re-dress the doll as it will be better protected the less it is handled. My packaging will be extremely safe and I will use absolute care and box all items separately and place within one box using plenty of protective layers. All pieces of glass eyes are t but I believe it better for an expert to glue or repair them than try it myself. As with rest of the doll, I will take great care in packaging the fragile eyes. I have started this auction off with a very low starting bid and have no reserve in order to give all doll collectors a chance to own this fine piece of history.
