This bowl is made of pottery with a dark, complex, matte green glaze. The bowl appears to be made of red clay, with just a hint of red coloring showing through the glaze near the bottom. If you know the company that made this handsome piece, I'd appreciate hearing from you! The bowl measures approximately 6 7/8 inches from side-to-side and about 3 inches tall. The opening at the top is approximately 5 1/4 inches. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The bowl does not appear to be marked. There are a couple of tiny white spots on the bottom of the inside of the bowl -- perhaps paint or the like and possibly something that could be addressed with some elbow grease and the right cleaning product. They're shown -- magnified -- in the photos below but are not glaring or especially noticeable in real life. Overall and other than as noted, this art pottery bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, etc. There is no scratching or surface wear.
