Vintage American Character Chuckles1952, marked American Character22 inches tallcrier worksvery good, clean, beautiful conditiondoll early latex oil cloth bodythick beautiful blonde saran hairThis is the earlier doll with the stuffed latex arms and legs, vinyl head, and oil cloth stuffed body.Her brows are light brown, her sleep eyes are blue and her upper lashes are soft and have no damage. They are full, none missing or broken off. She has painted under lashes.The cheeks have a fever blush and her lips are red. She has 2 upper teeth and an open smiling mouth. The face paint is beautiful.The body is wonderful. No damage and the color excellent. Not sticky or cracked. Very clean. Her body is pink oil cloth. No unwanted smells. She has been on display in my home for quite a while.I redressed her just for fun, but I kept her original outfit (see pictures), included with the doll, which are in pretty good shape. No rips or dry rot, only a couple of age spots which may come out.
