Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire King Jade-Ite Restaurant Ware Rimmed Cereal BowlsG305Set of 46-1/4" in Diameter; 1-5/8" TallUp for auction is a set of four Fire King Jade-Ite cereal/dessert bowls, each marked with "Oven Fire King Ware" with the script Fire King on the bottom of the bowls. This is the pattern also know as "restaurant ware." It was made mid to late 1940's and was very popular because it was durable and inexpensive. All of the bowls are in excellent condition and still have a nice shine. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and show very light, if any, wear from utensil use/stacking. The normal manufacturing marks for these pieces are present - thin striation lines, tiny bumps and color variation (includes small white spots, if any). These are all very minor and do not detract from the pieces. Please review the pictures, as they are an extension of this description.These pieces are from my brother's estate. He was a collector of Jade-Ite for years. This auction is one of many that we will hold for his collection over the next few weeks.
