�Vintage Antique 20s silk fabric sample swatch book Item Description Up for auction is this early 20th century (1925) antique vintage silk fabric textile swatch sample book. The hardcover measures about 16 x 12 inches with 70 pages of samples, lots of stripes, plaids, dots and much more. T are often 6 samples per page, but some with 3. T are about 82 pages with samples and 32 pages without.. Each sample measures about 3 inches by 2 inches. The samples are in Very Good condition, and are not faded or damaged. However, the pages are in fair shape and are deteriorating with age and are fragile. The binding is in good condition with wear as shown and is intact. The edges of the pages are fragile andwill flake off or tear with use, especially at the beginning end of the book. Several pages at the beginning and end are detached. CAREFUL handling and turning the pages will greatly minimize damage to the pages. It’s well worth the effort because You will be amazed with the textures, designs and ideas in this book. Ideal for designers, collectors, textile historians, even folks looking for textures for making video games. Many of the pages are stamped. Some may have very light notations.
