This is a super rare and unusual early Merrythought CAT. I have never seen one quite like it. She has her original MERRYTHOUGHT HYGIENIC TOYS MADE IN ENGLAND label which I believe is their earliest. She is an almost blue grey color with long wavy thick mohair. She has the most beautiful huge green glass eyes which are inset in a super cool, very realistic way that I have never seen before. She is a BIG, life size kitty standing over 14 inches tall and about 10 inches wide at her widest point, not including her wonderful long thick tail. I have included a picture with my Granddaughter who is 9 months old but bigger than most 1 year olds just to show how large and realistic she is. She is excelsior stuffed with a jointed head. Her most worn areas are her ears, they are missing much mohair and the velvet lining is in sad shape with a tear in one. Her head and body are in much better condition. There is some thinning here and there as you can see in pictures, some wear around her eyes and a tiny hole sewn repair here and there that are all but impossible to see.
