This is a beautiful, genuine amethyst, vintage, ring surrounded by diamonds with diamonds on the band. The amethyst is an emerald cut and it a deep color purple. The ring is very sweet and delicate. It is a size 7 and weighs 4 grams. The ring is 3/8 inch high and 1/4 inch wide. I bought this ring at an antique store in Salem, MA for $150. It is an antique but I do not have information on its providence. It needs a cleaning The diamonds sparkled when I bought it but now they look dull. There are 16 diamonds around the amethyst and 4 diamonds on each side for a total of 24 diamonds. There are a few scratches on the bottom of the band (see picture) from a ring guard. I ship quickly, usually the same day as payment. The ring comes in a gift box. The ring is stamped 925.
