I am pleased to offer you this lovely bisque head German doll from the early 1900s. I will describe her the best of my ability. Marked on the back of her bisque head is Heubach Koppelsdorf, 250-5 Germany 1. Reference attributes doll to German doll maker Heubach who had a porcelain factory in Koppelsdorf Germany. She stands 24" tall being a bisque socket head on jointed composition body. A pretty face with just the right color blush, she has open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine. Long upper lashes intact with painted black lashes around her eyes. Brown painted brows, she has red accents in the corner of her eyes and pierced nostrils. Detailed lips with open mouth and upper teeth, t is a little dimple in her chin. I notice a small scratch on the upper forehead, it is very light and small but I need to mention. I removed the pate to flash inside the head and see no cracks. T is plaster inside the head on the side of the eyes as most doll people use to reinforce the eyes. Her old blonde wig is so soft,possibly a mohair. It does show some age wear. Body is strung fine and displays well. The legs are a little darker in color than the rest of the body.
